RC puppy Pack News Page AU

At Royal Canin we understand the need for precise nutrition when breeding dogs.

We also understand the importance of continuing to offer the best nutrition when your puppy arrives at home with their new owner.

We are excited to launch our new puppy packs along with a new process to help make it even easier to recommend Royal Canin to your new owners.

This video explains the new process

1 Puppy packs can be ordered FREE with your food order on the ProShop! The process to add these to your order/cart has not changed, however you no longer need to select bags of puppy food.
2 When you receive the packs you must fill in your Breeder Club number on the front of the pack – this step is important! You can find your Breeders Club number at the top of this, or any future newsletter.
3 The best time to give this pack to your new owners is 2 – 3 weeks before they are ready to collect their new puppy. If this isn’t possible you can let them know your Breeders Club number and the unique barcode from their pack.
4 New owners will need follow the instructions on the front of the pack to register with our Healthy Pets Club and each new owner will receive a free bag of puppy food delivered directly to them. Puppy food will be allocated by breed.
5 New owners will also receive a 25% discount voucher for the first purchase when they register.
6 The new owner can receive a second 25% off voucher when they enter the barcode from their first purchased bag of Royal Canin.
7 We will be able to measure how many of your new owners sign up for the free bags and redeem vouchers and we will be rewarding you for your expert recommendation with our BREEDERS REWARD PROGRAM to be launched later in 2018.

Royal Canin Breeders in the Spotlight

Julie McLaurin - Wynstream Labradors

Julie started Wynstream Labradors over 35 years ago and with the guidance from very good friends achieved the breeding lines she has today. ‘I love Labradors, the breed is very dear to my heart and I couldn’t imagine myself with any other breed’ she said.

Before Labradors Julie had show horses and competed for many years at top level. Her companion at this time was a Labrador called Beauty, when she passed on Julie decided to find a breeder to get another companion. The bitch just happened to be good enough for Julie to show and she was bitten by the bug, enjoying this hobby ever since.
Julie travels to the mainland from Tassie every year to attend shows in SA and VIC and enjoys showing the dogs as well as catching up with friends. She is very selective about the number of litters she breeds each year, ‘I have the trust of some Labrador breeders from USA, UK and Europe who have sent me quality semen that has enhanced my lines’ Julie said.

Multi BISS/Multi BOB Royal Show Ch Wynstream Royal Stewart (Flynn, pictured top) is the choice of Labrador Retriever Breeder/Judges and International Judges alike, winning BISS in Victoria and Adelaide and RUBISS at the Sydney Labrador National as well as numerous BOB at Royal Shows under well know breed speciality and International Judges.
In May of this year Julie travelled to Victoria with two youngsters who were only 8 months old. Wynstream Just Smokin (Axel, pictured below) went Reserve Dog CC and Minor Puppy in Show while his sister Wynstream Careless Whispers (Anna) was Opposite Minor in Show. The Judge was a Breed/Specialist and who wanted to take Axel home to Finland!

Julie was introduced to Royal Canin many years ago at a dog show, taking home a sample she has been feeding Royal Canin ever since, over 12 years now.  ‘Royal Canin has everything in it that a dog needs to grow and maintain condition. My dogs have super coats and I feel feeding Royal Canin has enhanced this, I wouldn’t feed anything else’.

Junior - CH Galaksi The Winner Takes it all imp DK

Arrived into Australia in April 2016, already a Danish and Norwegian Champion. He very quickly gained his Australian Title, winning multiple BIS and having multiple Group wins. He joins the very successful kennel, Azel, owned by John, Valerie and Erin Carter in South Australia. Azel has produced multiple BIS winning American Cockers including one who has gained six other country titles, an international championship and best in show winner in 5 countries - Australia, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Poland. Royal Canin is a major importance in our breed - for energy, coat and condition. We love telling people what we feed our dogs, because the results speak for themselves.
